At Boots & Chic (“Cheap Wild West Steps Store”), we want you to be as happy with your boots as a cowboy is with his trusty steed. If your purchase didn’t fit just right or didn’t meet your expectations, we’ve got a straightforward returns process that’s easier than lassoing a calf at dawn.
Our Return Promise
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. Your boots must be:
- Unworn (still cleaner than a Sunday church shirt)
- In original packaging (with all tags attached)
- Free from any damage or alterations
Boot-Scootin’ Note: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Booties (due to their intimate fit)
- Any items marked as “Final Sale”
How to Return Your Boots
Follow these steps smoother than a two-step dance:
- Contact Our Posse: Email us at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use our template below to make it quick as a jackrabbit.
- Pack ‘Em Up: Securely package your return using the original box if possible. Include all paperwork that came with your order.

USA - Track Your Package: We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We ain’t responsible for lost return shipments.
Return Shipping Costs
You’re responsible for return shipping costs unless we sent you the wrong item or it arrived damaged. If that’s the case, we’ll send you a prepaid return label faster than you can say “yeehaw!”
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Timing: Refunds process within 3-5 business days after we receive your return. It may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Method: We’ll refund the original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal). Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is our mistake.
Exchange Policy
Want to exchange for a different size or style? Follow the return process above and include a note specifying:
- The item you want instead
- Your size preference
- Any other special requests
We’ll ship your new boots once we receive the return. If there’s a price difference, we’ll contact you to arrange payment or refund.

Damaged or Wrong Items?
If your boots arrived damaged or it’s the wrong item, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the issue. We’ll make it right quicker than a gunslinger draws his pistol!
